What Is Float Glass and How Is It Made?
Float glass is a type of flat glass produced through a process where molten glass is floated on a bath of molten metal (typically tin) to produce a uniform and consistent thickness, flatness and surface quality. This process results in high optical clarity, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including windows, mirrors, picture frames, tabletops, and shower enclosures.
Ultra Clear Float Glass
Ultra clear glass (also called extra clear glass, low iron glass) is an high transparent low iron content glass with light transmittance 91% or more. Ultra clear glass has the characteristics of low spontaneous breakages, high purity, more beautiful especially the jewel-like blue edge. Unparalleled superior quality and product performance make ultra clear glass have a wide application space and bright market prospects.
What Is The Difference Between Clear Glass And Ultra Clear Glass?
The difference between clear float glass and ultra clear float glass is that clear glass has a higher iron content, so it has a slightly greenish appearance that is particularly visible when looking at the edges of the glass. When we reduce the iron content, we get ultra clear glass with a beautiful light-blue edge and more neutral color.

1. Higher security. Ultra clear glass has lower iron content, more stringent impurity purification, bring lower risk of spontaneous breakage. More safety for high-rise buildings and super high buildings.

3.Do you have any foreign offices or warehouse?
We don't have foreign offices & warehouse. All products will be shipped to you from our factory directly.
4.Which port do you ship from?
Qingdao port, Tianjin port.
5.What's minimum quantity of an order?
Minimum 1 container for flat glass. No limit for processed glass.
6.May I have some samples?
Yes, we can supply standard samples (size 100*150mm or 300*300mm) for free, but courier freight is collect.
